How it works
It keeps your garden’s record, so it can tell you what matters today
Tell it your postcode, your beds and what’s growing where. From then on it holds the state of your plot: every bed, every crop, how far along it is and what you did last.
Free. Not a free trial. No card required.
Today
The few jobs that matter this morning
Every night it checks each bed against your postcode’s forecast and how far each crop has got. Each morning, Today groups the jobs by place, gives each one a short reason, and says so when you’re done.

Garden plan
Every bed, now, this autumn and next spring
A plan of your whole plot. Add bed sizes, roughly is fine, and it draws them to scale. When a crop is finishing it asks “Out yet?”, so you can see which beds come free.

Crops
Every plant has its own page
Every planting sits in one list, grouped in plain words: worth a look, picking, growing, started indoors, resting, planned and finished. Each one opens its own page with its story so far.
Now and then it asks whether an old planting is still going, so the list stays tidy.

Record
Your garden, written down
What you sowed, did and picked, bed by bed, as a diary that doesn’t reset in January. At the end of a season you can say what worked.

When something looks wrong

Where its answers come from
Your garden
The beds, crops, sowing dates and stages you have told it about, and what you have recorded since.
Your postcode
The local forecast and your area’s usual frost dates, used to time jobs such as sowing and protecting crops. Built for the UK, in °C.
Plain rules
A curated catalogue of more than 300 crops and 1,700 varieties, with simple crop, pest, disease and care rules. The daily jobs come from these, not from a chatbot.
AI is used where writing or looking helps: the full Why today? explanation, Ask Vercro and Plant Check. It can be wrong, so Vercro says “about” when it is estimating and asks you to look rather than guessing.
App screens on this site show the Vercro web app with a demo garden: an invented sample garden, not a real gardener’s. The photographs are from the founder’s own garden.
Works in any browser at app.vercro.com, including on your phone. There are also iPhone and Android apps; the newest version reaches the web app first. More questions
